Hi There. Nice to Meet You!

For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about relationships. Through exploring the feelings of my heart, and my curiosity about other people, I have come to a deep appreciation of just how fun, rewarding, and complex relationships can be. The podcast, Relationship Alive, was born out of wanting to not only discover more about how to have the best relationships, but also my desire to share that information with as wide an audience as possible. I love having conversations with interesting people, and my hope is that Relationship Alive will be not only interesting for you, but that it will help you have the kind of relationships that you want to have in your life.

A few simple facts about me: I’m from Maine (though not originally), and though my adventures have taken me around the country (and the world), Maine is where I find myself today. I have two amazing children, and have been blessed to explore the finer points of parenting with them (and the ins and outs of co-parenting with an ex-spouse). I have learned quite a bit from the darker periods of life, as well as the golden times. It's that process of growth that fuels my passion for what I do, and for helping others navigate the twists and turns of life.

I enjoy working with other people (both individuals and couples) as a coach, and have been trained in Strategic Intervention through the Robbins-Madanes Institute. I also am certified in Source Point Therapy, and am currently in training as an Infinity Healing practitioner. Having worked in the corporate environment for over 15 years, I also am very familiar with how interpersonal relationships (both in and outside the office) can affect your working and family life. I’m also a lifelong learnerfascinated by other people, the inner journey, and thoughts on how to live a great life and have great relationships.

In my other life I have been a professional dog trainer (specializing in Natural Dog Training), with a successful website and DVD set (featured in Dog Fancy magazine). It was through working with dogs, and seeing the connections between a human’s emotional state and their dog’s emotional state, that led me to more in-depth work with people. I have also worked in the technology industry (most recently the Director of Technology for a B2B software company), studied physical comedy (apprenticing with a clown on the road in Europe), and am a lifelong musician and songwriter. I also enjoy writing, and along with my own websites I have written articles on life, love, parenting, dog training, and more, for sites such as Intent.com and Elephant Journal.

I am looking forward to finding out more about YOU – what has led you to listen to relationship Alive!,
